Today, we are excited to announce Windows 365 for Agents is available in public preview (US). Agent makers—including partners building solutions on Microsoft Agent 365 and Microsoft Copilot Studio—can now select Windows 365 for Agents Cloud PCs as a run-time environment for their autonomous agents.

Why this matters for partners

AI agents are evolving from answering questions to executing multi-step work across enterprise systems. However, many critical workflows still live inside UI-based applications, legacy systems, and environments where APIs alone cannot reach. Windows 365 for Agents addresses this gap by providing a dedicated, policy-controlled Cloud PC environment where agents can interact with applications the same way people do—securely and at scale.

Agents run inside isolated, enterprise‑managed Cloud PCs with the same identity, compliance, and control model used for employees
IT maintains full governance, auditability, and lifecycle management
Organizations can scale agent workloads without managing infrastructure or compromising security

Windows 365 for Agents works alongside Agent 365, enabling organizations to move from experimentation to production-ready agent deployments—Agent 365 governs agent behavior and policy while Windows 365 for Agents provides the secured execution environment.

Windows 365 for Agents is billed on a pay-as-you-go model, with hourly usage at $0.40 per hour starting on May 1.
