Copilot in PowerPoint is now generally available. This release enhances the agentic value of Copilot in PowerPoint with multi-model support and Work IQ—enabling users to co-create, refine, and update presentations using natural language inside the app.

What's new with Copilot in PowerPoint?

This release expands Copilot in PowerPoint beyond web-based generation to enable:

Presentation editing powered by Work IQ, the intelligence layer that grounds Copilot in your organization’s Microsoft 365 content and workflows.
Default Claude Opus 4.6 model support to design and execute slide content within PowerPoint (except in EU or Anthropic-disabled tenants).
Multi-model selection to offer model choice while retaining Work IQ grounding and brand kit application.

Users can now create and revise presentations using natural language — grounded in organizational context and applied directly within PowerPoint layouts.
